  • Greetings, Action Taimanin Commanders.
    We have already passed the first half of 2026 and welcomed the second half of the year.
    In this Developer's Note, we would like to take a look back at the updates from the first half of 2026 and guide you through our upcoming update direction.

    ■ Q2 2026 Update Review
    We introduced changes to the Daily Quest and Total War systems that had been maintained for a long time without significant shifts.
    For Daily Quest , we implemented a new monster lineup and a new difficulty tier that scales with user growth levels. Additionally, through the Hidden Bosses that randomly appear during repeat plays, we offered a fresh combat experience along with bonus rewards.
    In Total War , we added the new boss monster "Astaroth". While defeating the existing Edwin Black demanded raw, high firepower, Astaroth was designed to test responsiveness against high mobility, encouraging players to utilize diverse strategies centered around ranged attacks.
    In Special Mode , an Archery mini-game starring Sora was added.
    This Archery game requires players to take wind effects into account and hit targets while dodging obstacles. Unlike previous mini-games that focused on fast decision-making and instant maneuvers, we wanted to deliver an immersive experience where players carefully judge their aim and timing.
    Furthermore, new playable characters "Clone Yukikaze" and "Mikami Chizu" were updated.
    We designed these additions so players could experience distinctly different playstyles: Clone Yukikaze, who unleashes flashy and exhilarating combat with high-speed action, and Mikami Chizu, who possesses a charming appearance backed by various supportive capabilities.
    We will continue to work hard to present appealing characters and diverse combat styles that suit them. We hope these updates have translated into fresh gameplay experiences, and we will continuously review and improve upon the feedback provided by our players.



    ■ Upcoming Second-Half Updates

    Collaboration Playable Character "Maya Cordelia" Joins the Battle!

    This coming August, Maya Cordelia from LiLiTH’s 『Prison Battleship 2』 will join the fight as a collaboration playable character.

    Although Maya Cordelia will arrive as a limited character obtainable only during a specified period, we want to ensure that as many Commanders as possible can enjoy this collaboration opportunity. Therefore, we will provide a method to recruit her not only with paid packages but also with Gems. Detailed information regarding the new package details and specific sale schedules will be provided in a future notice.

    Maya Cordelia is a character who maneuvers "focused energy" in battle, featuring a combat style focused on short and rapid attacks.

    Building upon a foundation of close-range combat utilizing skills with short cooldowns, she can utilize a variety of combat tactics—such as infusing her sword with Qi to extend the blade for wide-range strikes, or launching Qi blasts to suppress distant enemies.

    We hope you look forward to playing Maya Cordelia, whose action packed moves capture all the charm of the original work, and enjoying a brand-new combat experience.

    New Rarity Tier Added for Weapons and Supporters
    To expand the growth threshold for our Commanders, a new highest rarity tier, "LR", will also be introduced in August.
    Since its launch in 2019, Action Taimanin has operated its weapon and supporter grading system under the R, SR, and UR framework. As we have maintained the same growth structure for a long period, we are adding the LR tier—a grade above UR—to provide Commanders with new progression goals and a powerful sense of accomplishment.
    The introduction of the LR tier is being designed so that Commanders can effectively utilize their existing UR gear and resources to expand into the LR tier. Please look forward to strengthening your characters to the next level and devising new strategies for the upcoming high-difficulty content.

    Club Joint Training Added
    A new feature where you can take on challenges together with your fellow Club members, "Club Joint Training", will be added.
    Club Joint Training is a gameplay mode where all Club members challenge a common enemy, and the individual play results are aggregated to determine the overall achievement of the entire Club.
    Commanders will be able to hire characters trained by other Club members as mercenaries for battle, allowing you to strategically formulate your team composition using your clubmates' rosters.
    Each season will run on a round-by-round basis, and the overall Club ranking will be determined by combining the results of each round. In addition to rewards based on Club ranking, individual rewards reflecting participation and contribution will also be distributed.
    In addition to these features, Action Taimanin will sequentially provide various improvements and content additions based on the valuable feedback from our Commanders.
