  • Developer Note 2025
  • 2025.12.30

  • Greetings, Commanders of Action Taimanin.
Before we know it, we're approaching the end of 2025. Thanks to your continued interest and support throughout this year, we've been able to continue making various changes and improvements.
The year 2026 is just around the corner. Based on our 5th anniversary survey and various feedback you've shared with us, we're continuing our discussions and development efforts to create a better play experience. We're preparing new content and features for the upcoming new year that we believe you'll look forward to. And through this Developer Note, we'd like to share some of the key highlights.

    Review of 2025 Updates

In 2025, we focused on improving the fatigue issues in VR content, which Commanders consistently raised concerns about. We reorganized multiple systems to reduce the burden of repetitive early-stage progression, limited stage expansion methods, and the need for lengthy play sessions to earn rewards.
Additionally, existing Story Events were previously only accessible during specific periods, limiting access to supporters and weapons, and users consistently raised concerns that they could not revisit the content after the events ended. To address this, we have restructured past events into an Archive, making them permanently accessible. This will allow Commanders to play the story and engage in combat whenever they wish.
The positive feedback we've received since this reorganization has been a tremendous source of motivation for our development team. Moving forward, we will continue to review and improve various aspects such as combat difficulty and reward progression, based on the feedback gathered through customer support and surveys.
Total War focuses on character collection and growth, with competition centered around team composition and settings. We are keeping direct control elements to a minimum. Allowing manual controls could distort the intended competitive structure due to differences in user skills. Total War is based on character collection, growth, and team composition strategies, allowing anyone to challenge within a certain range, and it aims to fairly evaluate diverse characters through auto-battle. From now on, we will continuously review and improve Total War to uphold its core purpose, while also ensuring diverse strategies remain viable and consistently utilized, to avoid over-reliance on specific combinations.

    Road Map of 2026 Updates

In 2026, we are getting ready for changes through a comprehensive renewal of content and systems to enhance the user’s play experience.
We aim to broaden the scope of gameplay through new challenge content and cooperative content, while simultaneously implementing structural improvements across character enhancements, user-friendly features, and UI/UX to create a more stable and enjoyable gaming environment.

    ○ Renewal of Playable Characters

As our roster of playable characters continues to grow, we plan to restructure our renewals of full-scale renewals focused on individual characters and instead, focus on improvements across a wider range of characters. By flexibly applying updates such as visual adjustments, balance patches, and passive effects on a per-character basis where needed, we aim to enhance each character’s usability and overall appeal.

    ○ New Contents

    Challenge Arena
This is a new challenge content where users can test their skills regardless of character progression, by tackling stages with pre-set characters.
Regardless of character ownership or progression level, players can compete on equal footing to demonstrate their strategic powers. This minimizes the impact of stat differences and provides a gameplay experience centered on control.

Addition of New Bosses in Total War
We aim to expand the challenges by adding new bosses to the existing Total War and enhancing its strategic elements.

    Cooperative Club Contents
New club contents will be added where members can participate together and see the results of their cooperation. Based on the club’s united strength, members will not only earn rewards but also have opportunities to compete against other clubs.

    Improved Special Mode
We will refine the existing Special Mode's progression system to provide a more flexible play flow. We are also planning to add new mini games to expand the play elements.

    ○ Improved Convenience

To make core information easier to understand, we are planning to improve key UI elements such as achievement events, combat, and lobby.

We are also adding a new currency used for growth, which will be obtainable through daily quests, and introducing more difficulty levels to enhance the fun. And to provide greater convenience in acquiring currency, we will change Daily Quests to be more flexible.

Additionally, we are preparing to add and improve preset slots, enabling players to prepare for battle across a wider range of situations. We are expecting that the experimental combination and easier setting management will help players utilize various strategies.
We will continue to add more features and improve convenience to make sure that all users can enjoy Action Taimanin with ease. We look forward to your continued support of Action Taimanin in 2026.
